In 1996 I started taking photographs of women underwater for a painting series I did from 1996 to today (although not as often). I swam competitvely, scuba dived and painted (often nudes) at the time and found this idea through the development of my painting (click here to see my paintings) "The Land, the Sea and Me," which spawned a series of photo's of fellow painters that I could get to pose for me. |
